At SwimLabs Sugar Land, we don’t just teach swimming, we teach understanding with emphasizing on techniques. With small class sizes and advanced video feedback, we help students actually see what they’re learning and why it works.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Instruct personalized swim lessons to children, teens, and adults
  • Adapt instruction to different learning styles: visual, verbal, and hands-on
  • Using video technology to reinforce lessons and show progress in real time
  • Giving clear, supportive feedback that builds confidence and skill
  • Creating a positive, safe, and encouraging learning environment
  • Working alongside a team that values consistency, professionalism, and growth
Who Thrives in This Role

  • Teachers, coaches, tutors, educators, or instructors of any kind
  • Swim instructors who enjoy explaining the “why,” not just the “how”
  • Patient communicators who connect easily with swimmers and families

What You Bring

  • At least 3 years of instructing or coaching experience (swim or otherwise)
  • Strong understanding of swim technique and skill progression
  • Must be able to swim all 4 strokes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliability, professionalism, and a team-first mindset
  • CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard certifications (or willingness to obtain)
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
