SafeSplash Swim School Instructors are dedicated to teaching the Safety, Joy and Life Skill of swimming. We train our Instructors in our state of the art curriculum, but they bring the fun, dedication and determination to the job. We believe the greatest reward is seeing our kiddos succeed and have the lifelong skill of swimming to take with them.

We are actively recruiting individuals with previous experience or willing to learn on learn to swim, special needs, parent-tot and /or adult lessons. Hours: 4-20 hours per week
Days: Varies; Open Monday through Saturday - both am and pm shifts available

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

The main focus of a swim instructor is to teach swimming skills in accordance with SafeSplash® curriculum in a fun, positive manner.
Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers on their swimming efforts.
Structure class time appropriately to incorporate repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skills.
Maintain proper equipment and time organization to ensure timely class start times.
Provide customers with monthly, individualized feedback on swimmers during Splash ‘N Tell week.

Position Qualifications and Requirements:

Previous swim instruction experience is preferred.
Ability to communicate with both kids and parents.
Loving kids and being reliable with the ability to swim is an absolute necessity!
Willing to certify in CPR-PR/AED, First Aid for adult, swimmer and infants
Lifeguard Certification preferred
Training in the SafeSplash® curriculum will be provided - just bring joy!
