What will you do as a Swim Instructor?
- Teach swimming skills in accordance with the SafeSplash Swim Labs curriculum in a fun, positive, and structured environment
- Lead multiple swim sessions across different levels and age groups to help swimmers progress and gain confidence
- Provide continuous, positive, and encouraging feedback to swimmers and families
- Structure class time to include repetition, reinforcement, and skill progression
- Maintain a safe and engaging atmosphere for all swimmers
What are we looking for in a Swim Instructor?
- Previous swim instruction experience is preferred, but we’re happy to train passionate new instructors
- WSI certification preferred
- Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED and First Aid for adult, child, and infant preferred — we’ll help you get certified within 60 days of hire
- Special consideration given to instructors with experience teaching swimmers ages 6 months to 10 years, advanced swimmers, or students with special needs
Compensation: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour
